West Side Story

Today, I had another audition for West Side Story.  I was really looking forward to this audition, BUT it was the day I got back from a family trip, and I was not feeling very well.  So the audition did not go very well, but there will be more to come.

I did have a great time with my family and working with the students at University of Wyoming, and the students at EAC.

8-Track

I had another audition today.   It was for  the show called 8-track, which is a musical review of 70's music (I know right!!!!)  So the first part of the audition we had to sing, 16 bars, and I sang "Breeze off the River"  They liked my singing, as they called me back for the dance call-back.  I had two hours to kill, so I went to see how my "Ellen's" Crew was, and they were great!!!!!  After a pink lemonade and a half priced meal, I went back to the callback.  We had to dance to, get ready for this, 70's music.  It went well, at least I thought so.  There were about 30 people at the call back, and all danced well.  We dance for about an hour and then they wanted to talk about us, so we had to wait for about 15 min.  Then they came out and wanted to see three guys dance again, and I was one of those three, good right?  So the three guys danced again and like before, it felt good.  Then they had to talk about us some more, and came out and said, that I could go home, they didn't need me anymore.  Now, at some audition you could think, well I might still get it, BUT they still had to sing some more in groups, and if I don't sing in a group it would make it really had to get the job.   SO, it was another "No" But I still feel close and I am doing good work.  I am just thankful for a wonderful agent who always believes in me and keeps getting me great auditions.  Something will happen, and I will keep pushing on.

Slim GoodBody Audition

Today I had an audition for "Slim Goodbody".  He was that guy who wear that great body suit that showed all the insides of the human body.  He did a PBS show once.  The Job was for a one man tour, who toured the Northeast, as a one man show.  I had to sing for them, and I did "Last one picked" (Which you can listen on my REEL website) And they loved the song. They were laughing at me or with me.   I don't think I got the job, but the audition went very well,  so I was happy.

We are now in New York City.  Beth is working and I did my first show with the Manhatten Childrens Theatre.  I am now working with Fildwith Company in "Time Being".

Caitlin is growing, and now has two teeth!!!

Call back

I just got a phone call from the "Lord of the Rings" people and I have a call back for the show.  I go back to London on Wed. and have a movement call.  Crazy times.
